Empty grain ships must wait their turn to be filled at the Louis Dreyfus Grain Terminal in Seattle. Located at pier 86 in Elliot Bay, the terminal transfers grain from train cars to ships. The grain comes from the midwest.

The structure in the foreground is the platform for a water tank for the American Can Company. The building was built in 1916 and added onto in 1925. Zulily is the current tenant.
