The Lutheran Church in Wolfsdorf Neuvorpommern where Simon Colerus I was pastor starting in 1589. He died in Wolfsdorf in 1620. His son, Simon Colerus II became pastor in 1619 or 1620. He died in Wolfsdorf sometime after 1649. The Colerus pastors are ancestors of the Johann Siegfried Kähler family.

The church in the 1600s was only the square building that is the base of the tower. The church now belongs to the municipality of the now-larger neighboring village, Franzburg. However, there is still worship regularly at the church in Wolfsdorf. The pastor from Franzburg preaches. The church is heavily damage on the inside due to moisture and frost. The location of Woflsdorf is 18 461 Gremersdorf-Buchholz, North West Pomerania.
